At its heart, the Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France (18 km long). Protected from pollution and habitat for about fifty varieties of fish, the lake is linked to the Rhone via the Savière Canal and all water sports such as swimming, diving and sailing, are available in a water which reaches 25°C in summer.
